My work “Nuts” has been showcased in 3D Wold magazine (issue#133)

I’ ve had the pleasure of working with Wicked Pixels (www.wickedpixels.com) for the Hyundai (FIFA World Cup ’10 sponsor) commercial “Top Deer”. I’ ve created the wildebeest, the hamster and the impala models (modelling/texturing/fur).

A quick illustration with my squirrel model.
The model had been made for animation purpose, the mesh is pretty lowpoly, around 6k and it uses about 220k hair prims.
For an HD rendering it takes about 3 minutes, the original hires image is 3k and it took about 15 mins.
Modelled with Maya, rendered with MentalRay.
Shave and a Haircut for fur. The grass is fur matched with the background photo.

I’ ve got the pleasure of woring as Creature Artist (modeling/texturing/fur) on Furry Vengeance a live action family comedy starring Brendan Fraser, Brooke Shields and Dick Van Dyke.
I’ ve created the CG “photo real double” of the main hero raccoon character and a few other critters (Skunk, Porcupine and Rabbit).
Here is the first official trailer, the movie will come out April 2010.
